In using the services or buying the products of GCP, you agree to the following conditions and are responsible to read them carefully.
The following terms and conditions are in effect for the commerce between anyone (“Customer”) browsing or making purchases on Golden Channel Publishing’s (“GCP”) Genohistory.com website and store; or reading information from books, websites, or any other products developed and sold or provided by GCP, a sole proprietorship.

Scope of Terms
General terms and conditions are outlined here, but additional terms may be applied to specific products, services, and information. Specific terms should be reviewed as presented on copyright pages of books, notices and terms of the websites, software, and other products developed and/or distributed by GCP.
Your Account
To order services or products from the GCP store, you may be required to be logged in to an account and have a valid payment method associated with it. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your account, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Accounts are to be established and overseen by adults, age 18 or older, who can purchase with a credit card or other permitted payment method, and guide the appropriateness of materials for younger consumers. GCP reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, terminate your rights to use the site, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at its sole discretion.
Trademarks and Copyrights
The term Golden Channel Publishing and its various logos are trademarks of Donna Cox Baker, sole proprietor. Additional copyright and trademark statements apply to the various products and services of GCP. It is the responsibility of the Customer to review copyright pages, website terms, and all other statements of intellectual property embedded in the products and services of GCP. All materials appearing on or within GCP products, services, and web domains are the exclusive property of GCP or its content suppliers, unless identified as public domain or used under the “Fair Use” standard of copyright law. GCP’s intellectual property is protected under international copyright law.
Communication via Electronic Means
When you use GCP services, or send e-mails, text messages, and other communications from your desktop or mobile device to us, you may be communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically, such as e-mails, texts, mobile push notices, or notices and messages on this site or through other GCP-administered sites. You can retain copies of these communications for your records. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
Customer-Generated Content
Customer may post reviews, comments, questions, or other information, so long as the content is not illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights (including publicity rights), or otherwise injurious to third parties or objectionable, and does not consist of or contain software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings, or any form of “spam” or unsolicited commercial electronic messages. You may not use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of such content. GCP reserves the right (but not the obligation) to remove or edit any content posted to its websites, but does not regularly review posted content.
If you do post content or submit material, and unless we indicate otherwise, you grant GCP a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, perform, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media. You grant GCP and sublicensees the right to use the name that you submit in connection with such content, if they choose. You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content that you post; that the content is accurate; that use of the content you supply does not violate this policy and will not cause injury to any person or entity; and that you will indemnify GCP for all claims resulting from content you supply. GCP has the right but not the obligation to monitor and edit or remove any activity or content. GCP takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any content posted by Customer or any third party.
Customer License and Access
Subject to your compliance with these Terms & Conditions, and your payment of any applicable fees, GCP or its content providers grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and make personal and non-commercial use of GCP services. This license does not include any resale or commercial use of any GCP service, or its contents; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use of any GCP service or its contents; any downloading, copying, or other use of account information for the benefit of any third party; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools. All rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms & Conditions are reserved and retained by GCP or its licensors, suppliers, publishers, rightsholders, or other content providers. No GCP service, nor any part of any GCP service, may be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without express written consent of GCP. You may not frame or utilize framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo, or other proprietary information (including images, text, page layout, or form) of GCP without express written consent. You may not use any meta tags or any other “hidden text” utilizing GCP’s name or trademarks without the express written consent of GCP. You may not misuse GCP services. You may use the GCP services only as permitted by law. The licenses granted by GCP terminate if you do not comply with these Terms & Conditions.
Product Loss in Shipment
For physical products purchased from GCP, the ownership of the product and risk of loss pass to Customer upon GCP’s delivery to the carrier. Upon such delivery, Customer must deal with the carrier for any losses.
Returns and Refunds
GCP will refund the purchase price of its products for 14 days after the date of purchase, if Customer is not satisfied for any reason. GCP might or might not require return of an item in issuing a refund, at its discretion. If the item is to be returned, the refund will not be made until the item has arrived at the GCP location. Refunds are issued through the service that processed the original payment, unless GCP determines another method to be preferable.
Accuracy in Labeling and Marketing
GCP attempts to be accurate in the labeling and marketing of products, but does not warrant accuracy, completeness, reliability, timeliness of content, or correct opinions of content providers. If a GCP product is not as labeled or marketed, you may return it in an unused condition for a refund within 14 days of your purchase..
International Purchasing
GCP does not engage in international shipping of physical products. In most cases, its published works will be available for purchase through major online booksellers. GCP does not control the pricing of its products through external vendors, nor the quality of the shipping and handling.
Use of Third-Party Services
When you order from the GCP store, you may also be using the services of one or more third parties, such as a wireless carrier, a mobile software provider, or a PCI-compliant payment processing service. Your use of these third-party services may be subject to separate policies, terms of use, and fees.
Disclosure of Affiliate Advertising
Donna Cox Baker, GCP owner, is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Products that are for sale in the GCP store may link to Amazon when additional services are available there, such as overseas shipping or Kindle editions. If the customer makes a purchase through Amazon by following GCP links, GCP will receive ad revenue. However, Amazon is not affiliated with GCP and has no control over its products, services, or presentation. Purchases made through Amazon are not under the control of GCP.
Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
GCP and all information, content, materials, products (including software), and any other services made available through GCP are provided by GCP on an “as is” and “as available” basis unless otherwise specified in writing. GCP makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the GCP services, or the information, content, materials, products (including software) or other services included on or otherwise made available to you through GCP unless otherwise specified in writing. You expressly agree that your use of GCP services is at your sole risk. To the full extent permissible by law, GCP disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness of a particular purpose. GCP does not warrant that its services, information, content, materials, products (including software) or other services included on or otherwise made available to you through GCP, its servers, or electronic communications sent from GCP are free of viruses or other harmful components. To the full extent permissible by law, GCP will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of any GCP service, or from any information, content, materials, products (including software) or other services included on or otherwise made available to you through any GCP service, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages, unless otherwise specified in writing.
Applicable Law
By using any GCP service, you agree that the Federal Arbitration Act, applicable federal law, and the laws of the state of Alabama, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Terms & Conditions and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and GCP.
Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, terms, and conditions at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
