At Golden Channel Publishing (“GCP”), we value our relationship with you and place the highest importance on respecting and protecting your privacy. We want you to feel comfortable and confident when using our products and services and with entrusting your private information to us. This privacy statement applies to the GCP and its subsidiary websites:

Protecting your Information:

We make a reasonable effort to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, or unauthorized alteration by using industry-recognized security safeguards that comply with the Global Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI) and the Secure Socket Layer Certificate (SSL).

Data Storage:

  • GCP websites reside on Bluehost servers. See Bluehost’s Privacy Policy for information on its commitment to and policies surrounding data protection.

Data Security

  • GCP cannot guarantee you complete safety of your data transmitted via the Internet. SSL certification for the domains we manage enables the transmission of encrypted data into and out of our sites. We are cautious in the selection of our partners but do not control them. While we are as secure as we can reasonably be, you use the site at your own risk.

Information We Collect:

  • To aid in your experience with us, we collect the personal information you provide to us, such as your name, shipping/billing address, e-mail, phone number when you interact with us to purchase or use our products.
  • We collect email addresses through MailChimp in order to notify customers and potential customers of opportunities to consider new products and to become aware of events or news that could be of interest. The email address will not be shared outside GCP and its sub-organizations. Mailchimp tracks for us your basic reaction to emails we send—whether you open them and whether you click in them to take action. It uses your IP Address to determine unique users. This assists us in refining our emails for the most effective and efficient uses. The GCP does not share personally identifiable information with other organizations, except as a part of necessary software partnerships, as described here. All emails sent through Mailchimp include a link through which the recipient may unsubscribe, receiving no future emails.
  • The GCP store operates in cooperation with WooCommerce and Paypal, which are both committed to privacy, PCI compliance, and the GDPR. See WooCommerce’s Privacy Policy and the PayPal Privacy Policy. The GCP and its sub-organizations do not process or store bank or credit card information outside of the protected frameworks established by these organizations.
  • We use Google Analytics to analyze customer interactions with our sites. See Google Privacy & Terms for more information its use of and protection of data. GCP does not extract personally identifiable information from Google Analytics.
  • We collect information about your system as it interacts with us such as your Internet Protocol address, referral information, and browser information. This assists us in knowing how many unique visitors we have to pages, the geographic locations of our customers so we know where we are most effective, and the preferred browsing environments, to aid us in decisions about alterations to our site. It helps us to fight spam and other internet abuses. On some of our pages, we offer advertisements of products on other sites, such as Amazon.com, and the advertiser will mark your referral from us.
  • We collect user feedback, community discussions, chats and other interactions, such as surveys, at our sites.
  • GCP makes use of third-party applications to perform a number of useful tasks in the development, maintenance and upkeep of our site and data. We do not sell your information to third-party sites, but some of the technologies may require information sharing to a limited degree. Some may use cookies to activate essential and helpful functions. Our SSL certificate makes available to you the list of active cookies on our pages at any given time. You have the right to deactivate cookies, which might limit some of our site’s functions on your browser. This Privacy Policy covers use of cookies or any other embedded tracking placed by GCP specifically and not by the third-party companies. The third-party companies operate under their own privacy policies.

Uses:

  • We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone for promotional or marketing purposes.
  • We do not share your personal information with anyone outside of GCP or its affiliates for their promotional or marketing use without your consent.
  • We use your personal or financial information to provide you with information and services you request, to give you a customized interactive experience as you use our products, and to tell you about other products and services.
  • We summarize information about you and we also combine that information with that of others in a way that does not identify you personally, in order to understand how our products are used, to deliver products and services most efficiently, and to help us develop new products and services.
  • We may use service companies to help provide you products and services who are not allowed to use your information for their own purposes.

Personal Data Publicly Provided:

  • Any site user who provides personal information in posts, comments, surveys, “liking” posts, or any other method by which information is displayed publicly is the responsibility of the person entering the information and not of GCP. Do not use these features of the site or its social media components if you want to keep your information private. If someone other than the user has posted personally identifiable information about the user, notify our Data Protection Officer.
