Zotero on a Mac
I don't have an iOS device, so I am operating blind when it comes to questions about it. Can some of you who are Mac-people let us know if you're finding things that don't work or work differently than the book? I'm especially curious about the plug-ins, too. The Connector and the word-processing add-on that creates citations....are they working OK? Are there differences in the operation than the instructions I gave?

Hi Donna,
As you know, I am using a Mac. I have found everything is mostly working as described in the book. One difference is that on p. 105 you explain how to check your citations. In step 3 your instructions are to go to Edit--Preferences. On the Mac, you need to go to Zotero--Preferences. I just followed the instructions and my book section bibliography and footnote that I described in the Norwegian discussion looks a little different. The preview shows:

That's interesting! So you're saying that the format of a footnote or bibliographic reference look different when you're viewing the preview than when you copy and paste into a document? I'll have to see if it does the same thing to me.
