Creating a second Zotero profile for a separate library
There are instructions on the Zotero forum for creating a second Zotero profile:

I have used it successfully on a PC. The one thing that changes is a box that comes up when you open Zotero, asking which profile you want to use. While I like to keep virtually everything I am working on or ever have in the same big file, I am finding it useful to create exercises in my writing--so readers won't have to see all of my stuff in the print screens.
