Allow a view of document/photo thumbnails
If you are storing a bunch of photographs or other art scans, it would be very helpful to be able to see thumbnails of the image. It is much easier to scan for an image you remember than to remember what you labeled it. As it is now, you have to double-click them one by one.
Donna, it is funny you mentioned this, as I was just trying to figure out how to do that very thing. For my artwork, I have a folder I call inspiration. Many of the pieces have tutorials that are associated with them. It occurred to me that perhaps I could connect the image in the folder to the website using Zotero.
Normally I will browse the folder and hope I can find the website again. If I could have a thumbnail and that tied to the website well let's just say I would be doing the happy dance.
DONE AT LAST! The Zotero 7 beta just rolled out a substantial redesign that includes image previews. See attached. The date of the final Z7 rollout is not yet known, but I see this as a sign we're nearly there.
